Interns are directly responsible for tasks assigned to them and work closely with everyone on the team across functions. Our mission is to provide an insider’s view of the VC ecosystem to the interns in 3-6 months. We have discovered that interns bring in their core competency in diverse fields and enrich the learning experience for everyone on the team.

An unparalleled experience in shaping my professional career. A very approachable team, who is always ready-to-help you. It was the perfect combination of being challenged, yet fully supported. One of the most wonderful things about my internship experience was Jai and Satveer’s commitment to making the experience valuable to the fund and wholesome to my career goals. My time here was filled with a plethora of thought-provoking conversations, lots of mentorship, meeting a lot of new startups, attending some incredible events, and lots of food and laughter.
Thanks to the team of Riverwalk Holdings, for putting me on multiple projects across sectors since Day 1. The knowledge transfer and working on multiple projects were all happening in the same time frame, hence keeping me on my toes. The experience was fulfilling in all possible ways, be it the type of work and its impact, the people, doing the founder’s call all by yourself, or working through the pandemic digitally. I am grateful for the opportunity and would do it again, if I get the chance.
My experience at Riverwalk Holdings has been amazing. From day 1, I got exposed to the various facets of the firm. Not a day went by without learning anything from an amazing team. I got to interact with brilliant entrepreneurs and learn about their disruptive innovations. I would say that Riverwalk is not only a place to learn but also a place where you can make an impact through your work.
In my time here, I have seen start-ups across a range of industries and stages. The biggest learning experience was surely the discussion on everything. I feel that I have learned something from everyone, not only the internal team but also from a lot of entrepreneurs, which gave me a better understanding of the attributes that I was seeking in the first place. This internship provided me with an amazing learning experience, that was as human as it was professional.
A crash course on First Principles of Thinking I joined the investment arm of the Thakral group in February 2020, with a minimal understanding of the startup ecosystem in India or Asia. But I became well aware of how the investment part of the startup ecosystem functions and the scope of improvement in it, right after joining them. I am extremely grateful to my team, especially Satveer and Jai, who genuinely helped me a lot to learn and grow. Throughout my internship, we had multiple discussions and brainstorming sessions, which would often turn into debates on user psychology in India, the future outlook of various sectors, and our investment thesis. All in all, a supportive team with an innovative culture to work with!
